The development of civilisation was made possible thanks to the ability to make and use tools. Over the centuries, the materials for tools have changed and the technology for making them has evolved, but having good tools has always been an advantage. Even today, in a world dominated by high-performance digitally controlled machines and robots, tools play an important role.
Regardless of their type, tools have a major impact on production efficiency and product quality. Our tool shop mainly manufactures production tooling for presses – stamping dies and punching dies. When our plastic injection moulding department became operational, we also started production of moulds for external customers. We have at our disposal a wide range of machinery. In addition to lathes, milling machines and EDM machines, we also have four 4-axis CNC machining centres: three from HAAS and one from OKUMA.
Why does it make sense to use the services of the tool shop?
We have always focused on being as self-sufficient as possible, which is why, from the very beginning, one of the most important production support departments was the tool shop. In addition to modern machinery, a very important asset of the tool shop is a team of excellently qualified specialists. Technical support for the tool room is provided by the design and technology department with several experienced engineers equipped with advanced software. In the area of mould manufacturing, the tool shop uses the results of our Research and Development Centre, which is dedicated to optimising plastics processing techniques. Our customers can use all the facilities of the tool room as part of the services provided. We offer expert advice, design, manufacture and optimisation of injection moulds and other tools.
